If you have a family member who has an addiction, dual diagnosis, or a psychiatric disorder, you know that it’s not just one person who is affected. If someone in your family is struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction, depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, trauma, or anxiety, you’ve seen its effect on the entire family.
At Clearview Treatment, we understand the impact that addiction and mental health disorders can have on your family. That is why we developed a comprehensive set of family therapy services, including individual family therapy sessions, a free weekly family support group, and our intensive three-day Family Program.
Our family support group and three-day intensive Family Program are offered to any family who needs help, whether or not you have a loved one in treatment at Clearview.
Located in Los Angeles, Clearview’s three-day intensive Family Program is designed to bring awareness, understanding, and behavioral changes to clients, families, and significant others. Through group process, education, and experiential exercises, you and your family will learn how to change unhealthy behavioral patterns, and strengthen your family and personal relationships.
During the course of the three-day program, you will participate in group exercises such as role playing and family sculpture that help your family identify any pressing issues that need to be addressed. Through family therapy, you and your family will learn valuable communication techniques that can help you build a healthier family system.
You will also identify unhealthy roles and behaviors that are impeding good communication in your family. Together, you and Clearview’s expert treatment team will work toward overcoming obstacles to change and visualizing a new way to live as a family.
