Individual Therapy

Clearview Individual TherapyIndividual therapy is a key component of all of our dual diagnosis, drug rehab, and psychiatric treatment programs at Clearview. Based on your individual needs and the program you are enrolled in, you will receive one to five individual therapy sessions per week.

We take great pride in having assembled one of the very best treatment teams in the field. Comprised of psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, social workers, drug and alcohol counselors, dieticians, and detox specialists, our dedicated team is here to assist you in all aspects of your treatment and recovery.

Upon admission to our residential treatment, day treatment, or outpatient treatment, you will be matched with one of our skilled therapists. Your therapist will work with you to determine what issues need to be addressed during your therapy sessions, and provide you with necessary drug and alcohol counseling, dual diagnosis therapy, and therapy for any mood disorder, personality disorder, anxiety disorder, or trauma.

Individual therapy sessions typically last one hour, and are held onsite at one of our many facilities. During sessions, a nurturing therapist will help you to explore issues related to your addiction and/or psychiatric disorders. The focus of therapy is to assess and address any underlying issues that may be contributing to your drug or alcohol abuse, or problems with depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. Together, you will find ways to develop healthier coping mechanisms so that you can make a successful and long-term recovery.

Our highly trained staff uses the most current evidence-based treatment modalities available to help you overcome your addiction and/or psychiatric disorders. Those may include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. If you suffer from trauma or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Somatic Experiencing will be incorporated into your treatment plan. Our counselors also provide case management, drug and alcohol counseling, nutritional counseling, family therapy, and couples therapy.
