Services at Clearview’s Residential Treatment Center
Clearview’s residential treatment center for psychiatric disorders and addictions is located in a beautiful Craftsman-style home in a quiet upscale neighborhood in Venice Beach, California. Our treatment center is located just 1 mile from the Pacific Ocean, allowing you to take advantage of Southern California beach activities and what Los Angeles has to offer. Our private gourmet chef can prepare meals tailored to your dietary and nutritional needs.
Understanding what is at the root of your addiction or psychiatric disorder is a primary goal of our residential treatment center. We use a variety of assessments to better understand your needs, including a psychiatric evaluation, bio-psychosocial assessment, nutritional assessment, and psychological testing as needed. Doing this helps us to create the individualized treatment plan that will work best for you.
Intensive individual therapy is a key component at our residential treatment center. You will receive a minimum of two individual therapy sessions per week with Ph.D. and master’s-level psychotherapists. You will also participate in a daily therapy group and a variety of specialty groups throughout the week, as well as attend 12-step meetings, education groups, and relapse-prevention workshops.
We incorporate a wide range of traditional, experiential, and complementary therapies into your treatment plan to make sure you get the comprehensive residential treatment you need. Our expert staff uses the most current, evidence-based treatments available, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-based modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Somatic Experiencing (SE). Other treatment modalities may include case management and nutritional counseling.
Clearview’s Residential Treatment Center is committed to treating the whole person, incorporating treatment strategies for both the mind and body. You will participate in yoga therapy and meditation once per week and have access to a gym one to five days per week. Chiropractic care, therapeutic massage, and acupuncture are also available.
We also understand how important family is to the recovery process. Clearview’s Family Program includes an intensive family week, individual family sessions, and a family support group. We provide family and couples therapy as needed.
Research and our experience have shown that long-term dual diagnosis treatment and therapeutic care produce optimal treatment outcomes. Prior to completion of your treatment, you will develop a comprehensive continuing care plan to ensure a successful recovery.
We offer a complete continuum of care, including primary residential treatment, residential extended care, sober living, day treatment, and an outpatient program. If you are from out of the area, we will help you to find appropriate psychiatric and therapeutic resources close to home.
