Women’s Treatment Center
Who We Treat
Our women’s residential treatment center is a comprehensive dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) program designed to treat clients with diverse gender identities, ages 18 and older who struggle with a variety of emotional disorders. It is one of the only programs in the country specifically designed to treat clients with diverse gender identities with borderline personality disorder (BPD) or serious emotional dysregulation.
An Inclusive Environment
At all our treatment facilities, we are proud to provide LGBTQ+ affirming environments. At our Women’s Center, we treat clients with diverse gender identities, including cisgender females, trans-females and trans-males, and non-binary individuals assigned female at birth.
What We Treat
In addition to BPD, we treat:
The core component of our women’s residential treatment center for BPD is dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). DBT is a powerful evidence-based therapy that can help improve the overall quality of life by helping to learn useful skills. DBT has been thoroughly researched and proven to be effective in treating BPD and a variety of other mental health disorders.
With help from trained DBT staff, clients develop an individualized treatment plan to target ineffective behaviors and increase adaptive coping skills to create a life worth living. Through individual DBT sessions, DBT skills training groups, homework assignments, and phone coaching, lasting recovery is possible.
