Residential Treatment Center for Addictions and Mental Health Disorders
We know that struggling with an addiction and a psychiatric disorder at the same time isn’t easy. In fact, you may feel like there is no way out.
But there is hope. And Clearview Treatment Programs can make a difference.
At Clearview’s Center for Addictions and Mental Health Disorders, a residential treatment center in Los Angeles, you will work with therapists who will help you to address both your substance abuse and mental health disorder so that you can make a complete recovery from both. Your individualized treatment plan will be tailored to your specific diagnosis to ensure that you are getting the treatment you need.
What Our Center Treats
At Clearview’s co-ed Center for Addictions and Mental Health Disorders, our integrated evidence-based approach to dual diagnosis can help you address and successfully resolve the underlying causes of your substance abuse while successfully treating:
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- Anxiety disorders
- Bipolar Disorder
- Trauma/Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Other personality disorders
- Eating disorders
Treatment at Clearview involves a variety of evidence-based therapies that provide you the skills needed to maintain your sobriety and improve your mental health issues. We want to give you the skills needed to succeed, both during your time at our residential treatment center and beyond.
At our residential treatment center for addiction and psychiatric disorders, you will participate in intensive group and individual therapy using such therapies as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness.
In addition to evidence-based therapy groups and sessions, all held on site, you will participate in daily 12-step meeting attendance in the community, as well as a 12-step study group.
Residential Treatment: Primary vs. Extended Care
Depending on your needs, you will enter our Center for Addictions and Mental Health Disorders for either primary residential treatment or residential extended care. Both of our dual diagnosis residential treatment programs are co-ed.
Primary residential treatment is appropriate if you are just beginning your recovery, or if you need more support than outpatient treatment or individual therapy can provide. There is a 30-day minimum stay at our dual diagnosis residential primary care treatment program, and detox services are available.
Residential extended care acts as a bridge between the intensity of a 30-day residential treatment program and living independently. This treatment program was designed to help slowly transition you back into your daily life through vocational and life skills assistance. Our residential extended care program is appropriate if you have been through addiction treatment before but continue to relapse, or if you just need more support after completing your stay at another addiction treatment program.
No matter which residential treatment program you enter, you will be living in a comfortable, luxurious home in Venice Beach, about 1 mile from the coast.
Why Choose Clearview for Residential Dual Diagnosis Treatment?
Clearview Treatment Programs was founded in 2000 and is nationally recognized as a leader in treatment for addictions and psychiatric disorders. We specialize in treating complex diagnoses, allowing us to provide help to those who may not even have believed they could make a recovery.
Clearview is also one of the few programs in the country that offers comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for treating a dual diagnosis. DBT has been found extremely effective in treating substance abuse and a variety of psychiatric disorders, which is why we’ve integrated it throughout our residential dual diagnosis treatment program along with other evidence-based therapies.
At Clearview’s dual diagnosis residential treatment program, we have a team of people committed to helping you succeed in your recovery. We also offer a complete continuum of care so that you can enter into our residential treatment program and step down to day treatment and outpatient treatment as appropriate, allowing you to feel fully supported until you are ready to return home.
We know we can help you get back on track and live the life you want. We are here to help you do just that.
